Title: extra location
Post by: Tugmistress on March 26, 2009, 04:35:58 PM
wow, just got a friend interested in the weather who lives about 25 miles away from me, and he hasoffered to put up a weather station in his garden for me as a spring project and still upload to my own website - it should give some interesting comparisons, i am on the atlantic ocean coast and he is on the north sea coat at sinclairs bay :D

will let you know how this progresses :D

That sounds great, I will look on in interest. It is amazing how different things can be in a small location; I work most of,  (what is known as) upper Deeside an area from Braemar to Aboyne and the conditions can vary a great deel. Today in Braemar almost constant Sleet, yet down the valley almost constant sun!

What I want is someone interested in Braemar!

Just got the extra weather station uploading to my site yesterday :) so i have my own station on the north coast at the atlantic ocean and the other station at keiss on the east coast where it is the north sea :)

i need to take a compass round as i'm sure he has the direction all to pot but as i only had a major op 3 weeks ago i'm not quite able to go climbing poles yet lol
