Title: Rainfall Radar Down
Post by: Budgie on January 05, 2010, 10:36:50 PM
I'm blind!  8)
I've just noticed that the rainfall radar station up the road from me at Bayble on Lewis is down and means that any snow showers heading our way tonight will be a surprise when they arrive.
The UK radar coverage now stops just South of Lewis and doesn't even cover the island any more.
It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for the UKMO to fix it, especially in this weather.

I've just noticed that the Lewis radar is now reporting again.  ;D
I've been lost without that over the last two days as everything is coming from the North and there's no radar cover in that direction, apart from our local one.
