Title: Doon Valley Weather
Post by: DaveH64 on June 02, 2008, 09:24:18 AM
Thought I had better introduce myself.  I reside in Dalmellington and have a WS2300 aws

Have had a weather station for about 2 years, and started photography at the same time and never looked back since have found weather and photography a great hobby. I am also known to disappear in the night for meteor showers.Northern Lights, Nlc's and iridium flares.

Look forward to speaking to you.

Regards

Welcome to the forum Dave,

I'd be grateful of some pointers on catching the meteor showers & iridium flares at some point, something I've not managed to do yet.  ;D

Cheers Guys. Still to photo a meteor not for the want of trying and iridium flares are also quite hard to catch I use Heavens Above a great site for spotting things in the night sky. Put in your position and it will tell you where to look.
