Request for Information

I received this email today through the network's email.
I can't help but thought someone may know a station in the area:

I am a Masters student and am currently writing as report on bird migration
within Scotland. I am looking for weather data for the Isle of May, in
particular annual temperature and windspeed for the past 5 years or
monthlly if that is available.

As there is a lighthouse there, there may be a remote Weather Station link...I cannot remember ever getting particular data from there in the past, but RAF Leuchars Met Off would be a good place to try for data....but there again I suspect that the Official Met Off would want bucket loads of cash for any data like that..
