Yep, it's made of marine ply, the glass came from a coldframe that was trashed during the Jan 2005 storm and is mounted in slots I cut into the wood then sealed from the outside. The felt is the stuff that you heat the back of to make it stick.
That photo was taken when it was first put up but it's now got two vents near the top that have a cover over each of them to stop the rain from getting in and some ally gauze in the holes as a critter barrier.
There's no heater in there and this is the second winter out there for the camera.  Wink

The outward side of the box unscrews to allow access to the camera and the lead goes in through a USB size hole at the back, which is then sealed.
