Hi Sean,

Interesting to see the timing of the highest gusts with you compared to mine, which were around 4 hours later, just goes to show the speed at which the system was moving North.

Is this the data you recorded at your own station only or has it been confirmed by comparing your data to another source?

Yes it moved very quickly up north my weather station failed due to the power cut but just before it went off it recorded a gust of 95mph. The data was recorded at the Barra Airport station its highest gusts beat the other station on the east side and mine because the power went off.

It will be interesting because there is a mast very high up its doing a wind project to see if its ok to put a wind farm somewhere so I will have to wait until they confirm there highest gust which will be a lot higher than 120mph.
