Yah Cookie, got it here as well, although you're not far from me anyway.  Cheesy
There was one large CB that came through at 23:06 that started with hail, the temp dropped from 4.9 to 2.3C in a matter on a minute or so and the several flashes followed by 1.6mm of rain.
We've seen around 6 or 7 flashes so far and my Boltek Lightning Detector is having fun with it.  Grin

There is still a chance of some more tonight and the best thing is; my forecast program has been saying thunder for tonight since Monday!!  Wink

just at the point I was driveing home, first flash i noticed I was at park end.

didn't see another one till around 11:10 just turning towards egalton.

then I saw few more flashes later, but you're right it got very cold very fast. I bet it would have been good to see in day light.
