7.4 mm today. On and off for about 6 hours with a heavy and prolonged thunderstorm at about 13:00 BST.
Looks like some more heading this way for overnight.

i recorded 4.6mm yesterday taking the months total to a massive 10.1mm
it's that stupid 'spots of damp in the air' today so just enough to keep the dust from coming back at the moment but not enough to record anything at all so far!

Rainfall for month, 21.4 mm here, a third of that fell on the 4th, and another third on the 28th, the rest was spread over 4 other 'rain days'.

A bit dry...

We ended up with a total of just 19.9mm for May.  With half an hour to go, we've had 14.8mm today alone.

Here's hoping that June doesn't continue the way it started!

Glad I didn't pay for my salmon licence on one of the local rivers this year, no salmon can get up at the moment.  Wink

The Tay is at 2 inches below summer levels with us at the moment. The occasional fish are being caught, but sadly they are totally avoiding my own offerings  Angry

That's standard practice with me, last two years I've had a total of 6 fish take my fly and I've not landed one of then.  Cry
