Looked at the forecasts and it shows that the wind could reach 60mph in northern parts of Scotland.

Here is my sea forecast
For Monday 9th June

Swell
The swell height around western area's will be 18ft to 20ft. Anywhere else will be 5ft to 8ft.

Wave Period
The wave period round the western parts will be 12 seconds and any other area's just 6 seconds.

Wind
The wind will be a force 4 around the uk but north western parts will be a force 8.

Pressure
The pressure in southern parts will be 1028mb but in northern parts 1000mb.

The heaviest of the rain will be in the north at 4am on Monday.

No significant rain here yet, but the breeze is getting up and I've just been out to rig some extra windbreak around the broad beans that finally got planted out yesterday...

Today i will give you updates from the following locations.

Tiree 23mph
Barra 25mph
South Uist 36mph
Benbecula 22mph
Stornoway 18mph
Altnaharra 8mph

The pressure around the area is 1018mb a low of 1000mb is expected later today update at 10am!

Pressure in the area now at 1016mb -2mb in the last 30minutes.

The wind has also increased slightly in 30 mintutes.

In the southern parts the wind has dropped but in northern parts its still getting stronger.

The pressure is now 1015mb -1mb drop in 1 hour

Wind did a sudden jump here at 09.45, had been a steady ish 15-20mph now its a steady ish 25mph - highest gust so far 34mph at 11.14. Baro not doing anything exciting, it's dropped a little but seems to be steadying out for now.
am watching the map with interest, i know by the charts i am expecting the windiest bit for us later tonight.

In some places the wind is increasing more and others it has dropped a bit.

The pressure is still 1016mb in the area so no drop in the last hour.

What's the source of the pressure are you reporting?
The one on your mesomap entry seems lower than the one mentioned here?

Pressure still at 1016mb but in the far north the pressure is 1014mb

The wind in the north is starting to get stronger too.
