ok i got my daughter to make a video of the harbour where i live from photo's i have taken, i was making a right tits up of it lol

i reckon it would be nice to see a few more from wherever you live? anyone else going to make one and share their surroundings?

Would love to but dinna know how to was that a compilation of still images ? Very well done and informative but as a land lubber whats the difference between a Ship and a Boat ? .

yeah a compilation of stills, it was just made in windows movie maker (part of XP and Vista).
i am not sure but i sort of remember being told 'a ship can carry a boat but a boat will only carry and dingy' or something along those lines lol .... positive someone will correct me though Cheesy

glad you like it, i'm thinking about doing one from my holiday to shetland last november Smiley

Nice video - some great photos of ships (and boats!)!  I haven't got around to making a movie yet but this:

is a slideshow of countryside photos we've taken for the Geographs [ http://www.geograph.org.uk/ ] project (which is itself a fantastic source of photo images from around the UK).

Ours are taken in the NE Scotland, all within about 30 miles or so of Inverurie.  Gives a fair idea of the variety of countryside around about here.
